Experimental Measurements of CO₂ Solubility in Aqueous MgCl₂ Solution at Temperature between 323.15 and 423.15 K and Pressure up to 20 MPa

Experimental CO2 solubility data in brine at high temperatures and pressures are important for capture storage (CCS) applications. Many have been acquired single-salt aqueous solutions such as NaCl, CaCl2, Na2SO4. containing MgCl2 extremely scarce. In this work, new experimental of were acquired. Thirty-three points reported an original range pressure (1.5 to 20 MPa), temperature (323.15, 373.15, 423.15 K), salinity (1, 3, 5 mol/kg). Measurements made using the potentiometric titration method. Results show that increases with evolution decreases concentrations.
